Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a reputable energy company out of Denver, CO in their search for a Staff Accountant to support the finance department by maintaining accurate records, handling routine accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with established standards. The accountant will assist with ledger management, payables, receivables, and reconciliations to support reliable financial reporting and smooth day-to-day operations.
Location:
Denver, CO (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office) Pay:
$70,000 - $80,000/year, depending on experience Responsibilities
Review and reconcile bank and credit card accounts. Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Analyze account balances, resolve discrepancies, and prepare schedules for month-end close. Create and process invoices while monitoring receivables. Prepare adjustments as needed to support accurate reporting. Assist with audit requests and respond to inquiries. Perform other finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience. Familiarity with accounting standards and reporting requirements. Proficiency with Sage Intacct Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
