Overview

Are you an organized, people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Were looking for a proactive Residential Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure tenant satisfaction, and keep properties running smoothly. This role balances administrative tasks with hands-on problem-solving, while building strong relationships with owners, tenants, and vendors. As our Property Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for owners, tenants, and vendors, coordinating move-ins and rent collection, handling maintenance requests, ensuring compliance, and protecting and growing the value of our properties. You will maintain accurate records, manage Rent Manager data, and support tenant retention initiatives to create a seamless and professional experience for everyone involved. Responsibilities Act as the main contact for phone calls, emails, and tenant communications. Manage tenant correspondence: move-in/move-out logistics, rent collection, billing, landlord services, and incident claims. Coordinate and track property maintenance, inspections, certifications, and work orders. Maintain accurate lease files and property records. Support tenant retention efforts, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of complaints. Conduct move-out inspections and manage deposit releases. Oversee vacancy tracking and leasing efforts in Rent Manager. Liaise between tenants, owners, and vendors to ensure quick resolution of issues. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain updated data in Rent Manager, including tenant, owner, and leasing information. Create and manage supply lists for office and property needs. Ensure safety compliance by correcting unsafe conditions promptly.

Qualifications

2+ years of property management experience preferred (not required). Familiarity with Rent Manager or similar property management software is a plus. Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Problem-solver with a hands-on, decisive approach. Licensed in Washington, DC (preferred).

Compensation

$50,000 - $60,000 annually; Benefits: Health & Dental #J-18808-Ljbffr
