You'll be responsible for proper delivery and unloading of products in accordance with customer invoices and company standards. Top earners can make up to $180,000! RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure all paperwork is completed according to company and governmental guidelines. Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary conditions. Develop strong relationships with customers through excellent service and clear communication. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted in lieu of high school diploma. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting practices. Skill in driving over long distances and in varying weather conditions while communicating effectively with customers. Ability to handle hazardous materials and food items while operating necessary equipment. Capable of performing basic math functions and effectively planning work activities. Ability to read, speak, and understand English to interact with the public and perform reporting duties. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job requires sitting, talking, hearing, and lifting/moving product up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work conditions may include exposure to extreme weather, mechanical parts, and confined spaces. The associate will typically work an overnight schedule and may require working weekends and holidays to successfully meet customer needs.
