The More You Drive; The More You Earn!
RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload products from the trailer by hand or with a hand cart, ensuring proper placement in customer storage areas, following specific guidelines and company standards.
Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, following established company and government protocols.
Adhere to food safety standards, maintaining sanitary conditions in your vehicle as well as during delivery.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers through effective communication and excellent service.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma/GED, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school may substitute for education.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines.
Skills in operating long distances and various terrains, plus effective customer communication.
Ability to drive day or night, remain alert, and manage hazardous and temperature-sensitive materials.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job requires regularly sitting, talking, and hearing. You will frequently lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds by hand or with a hand cart. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to varying weather conditions is common. You may need to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime.
