We are seeking an experienced
Production Quality Manager
with a strong background in industrial manufacturing. Experience in metal finishing or plating is preferred but not required. This role is primarily process-focused, emphasizing quality management, scheduling, documentation, and compliance, while also overseeing plating operations and supporting production efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Manage plating processes to ensure production and quality standards are met. Schedule plating activities to align with production needs (training provided if needed). Ensure employees follow all safety protocols and use proper protective equipment. Maintain compliance records, logs, and quality documentation. Support adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements. Uphold workplace safety, quality, and environmental standards. Provide process oversight rather than direct micromanagement. Collaborate with a team of approximately 40 employees across multiple shifts, with expansion toward 24/7 operations. Partner with leadership on production goals, compliance initiatives, and process improvements. Qualifications
Strong background in industrial manufacturing (metal finishing/plating preferred). Supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing setting. Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Proven attention to detail in managing logs, compliance, and process documentation. Familiarity with quality standards and QMS a plus. Ability to promote a culture of safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
