Executive Director of Financial Services / Partner - Ascendo Resources We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on IT initiatives, vendor management, and contract negotiations to ensure seamless delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing cross-functional stakeholders while driving results under tight timelines. Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned IT projects within scope, budget, and schedule. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring performance standards and contractual obligations are met. Negotiate vendor contracts, including pricing, service levels, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Legal, and Business Units) to align project goals with organizational objectives. Track and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management. Drive process improvements and ensure documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the contract period. Utilize Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet, etc.) to manage communications, reporting, and collaboration. Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, ideally within IT or technology-driven projects. Strong background in vendor management and contract negotiation. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus but not required. Seniority level
