The
Account Management Project Specialist
plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of projects by managing customer accounts and facilitating communication between clients, internal teams, and vendors
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project requirements, status updates, and potential issues clearly and professionally. Project Coordination: Develop detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope. Sales and Account Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities, assist in drafting proposals, and ensure the accurate and timely completion of contracts. Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, operations) to resolve any technical or logistical issues during the project. Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per project requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and reports. Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project progress. Quality Control: Ensure all aspects of the project meet company standards and client expectations through detailed review and testing. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks and work with teams to develop effective solutions. Customer Feedback: Gather client feedback during and after the project to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement. Support Sales Teams: Assist the sales team in providing technical expertise and client insights to facilitate new business development and the upselling of additional services. On-site Visits: Occasionally visit client sites to monitor project progress and gather necessary data to inform proposals or contract preparation. Assist with other related tasks as needed to ensure project and customer success. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (required). 3-5 years of experience in project management, account management, or a related role, preferably in a technical or construction-related industry. Proven ability to manage client accounts, handle client communications, and ensure project deliverables are met. Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and general office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute projects. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients. Travel to client sites may be required occasionally. Personally accountable for developing team members and delivering results. Able to multi-task and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Must be able to legally drive and provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service area, including weekends and evenings.
