Purchasing Coordinator
for an

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Supporting the initiatives of the Purchasing department through tactical purchasing activities. Contributing to the development of purchasing strategies and departmental plans. Participating in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives. Serving as a subject matter expert in purchasing processes and practices. Assisting team members as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity. Handling tactical purchasing responsibilities with internal and external supply chain partners to maintain high service levels. Collaborating with Accounts Payable to investigate, identifying and resolving non-payment issues on supplier invoices. Generating requisitions and sending purchase orders to suppliers. Maintaining accurate dates and purchase order details within the ERP system, ensuring timely updates. Ensuring pricing accuracy and validating supplier quotes before placing orders. Providing vendors with rolling 12-month forecasts to align supply with demand. Working cross-functionally with Sourcing, AO, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to support organizational initiatives. Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and large ERP systems (Oracle/SAP). Communicating effectively through strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and presentation skills. Managing time, priorities, and details effectively in a fast-paced environment. Influencing and diplomatically persuading others to drive process improvements and change. Applying quantitative and analytical skills to solve problems. Communicating financial concepts clearly to diverse internal audiences. Operating effectively in a team-based environment with accountability for quality, customer service, compliance, inventory management, and cost reduction. Negotiating with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms. Applying knowledge of inventory planning with at least one year of experience. Utilizing planner/scheduler skills with a minimum of one year of experience. Company Description & Benefits
