Role
As a
Product Owner , you will report to the Senior Product Owner and lead digital transformation initiatives focused on our life insurance and annuity sales, new business, and servicing processes. You will collaborate with leaders across the organization to deliver initiatives shaping the Life, Individual Retirement, and Retirement Services businesses. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage projects, engage diverse stakeholders, and execute within tight timelines.
Responsibilities Execution of projects within an enterprise-level digital program; partner with the Senior Product Owner to lead multi-year, multi-discipline transformational programs for advisory and broker-dealer products and solutions.
Deliver projects leveraging product management discipline and customer focus in collaboration with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business partners.
Customer experience design: understand advisor and client needs using data analysis and direct communication; collaborate with designers, engineers, and others to identify new features and experiences that differentiate Corebridge Financial.
Business case development: support strategic business case for the designed program and articulate the project’s vision, plans, and goals to stakeholders.
Planning & road mapping: build cohesive product roadmaps, bridge business outcomes with technical delivery, and collaborate with technology partners to deliver scalable tools.
Adoption & value realization: drive end-to-end rollout, coordinate marketing and training, measure adoption and benefits, and track KPIs monthly and quarterly.
Reporting & risk management: manage project costs, respond to project-related requests, and identify risks with proactive mitigation.
Leadership: indirectly manage agile pod teams, develop the team, and ensure effective cross-team communication and messaging.
What We Are Looking For Industry knowledge: Life Insurance, Individual Retirement and Group Retirement, distribution frameworks, and understanding advisor needs; knowledge of sales, new business lifecycle, and servicing processes; familiarity with distribution channels.
Program Management & Digital Transformation experience: 5+ years as a product owner implementing digital solutions; experience in transformation/strategy roles with technology and digital trends in insurance; structured project management, change management, and on-time delivery within budget.
Working knowledge: digital trends in insurance, CX-driven journey design, lean practices, root-cause problem solving.
Communication excellence: clear written and verbal communication; ability to present to and engage senior leadership; strong listening skills and cross-organization collaboration.
Execution mindset: structured, proactive issue identification, hands-on agile experience, and continuous improvement mindset.
Customer-first mindset: deep understanding of customers and delivering value with a user-centric focus.
Leadership & collaboration: strong people leadership, accountability, data-driven decision making, and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Qualifications Operations strategy experience in consulting or insurance; knowledge of sales, service, and operations excellence.
Hands-on agile experience with coaching and mentoring teams.
Experience with user-centric design and designing customer-centric processes and journeys.
Strong analytical background; ability to synthesize data into actionable plans; clear understanding of digital technology trends.
Bachelor’s degree (Technology or Business) or equivalent.
Experience with change management and adoption frameworks; ability to build internal relationships across matrixed organizations.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is
$110,000-$150,000
at commencement, with eligibility for discretionary bonus; actual compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Corebridge offers a range of benefits as part of total compensation.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX and Jersey City, NJ offices and is subject to our hybrid working policy, allowing both office and remote work.
Estimated Travel
Minimal travel.
