As a member of the Office for Parish Renewal, the Renewal Senior Coordinator (RSC) advances the Archdiocesan plan for Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship in the Archdiocese of Chicago focused on two parishes in the Co-Implementation spiritual renewal project.
The RSC serves as a key implementor, mentor, and resource for the evangelization and missionary discipleship efforts in Co-Implementation parishes, supported by the Parish Renewal Leader (PRL) and collaborating with other RSCs and the broader Co-Implementation Team.
Responsibilities
Serve as the direct resource to parishes in fostering evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship efforts Implement, with archdiocesan and parish leaders, evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship events and experiences Support the Director of Evangelization to lift-up and train leaders Engage in a mentoring relationship with the parish evangelization lead and the evangelization team to build out a kerygmatic soft entry point, create infrastructure for a culture of evangelization Engage in a mentoring relationship with the parish hospitality lead and the parish adult discipleship lead, and take steps toward forming missionary disciples Responsible for realizing the co-implementation project plan in the areas of evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship goals and strategies Work as a member of the Co-Implementation team to implement Co-Implementation initiatives, which could include special events, centralized trainings, and workshops. Coordinate the development and implementation of Evangelization and Missionary Discipleship processes and resources in collaboration with other Office for Parish Renewal team members Work Breakdown

Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of ministry experience, preferably at the parish level Understanding and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission, and values Good listener with curiosity and openness to learn from others Excellent communicator – written, verbal, interpersonal, and as a presenter Able to facilitate and conduct open dialogue with groups Ability to relate at multiple ecclesial levels: parish, deanery, vicariate, Archdiocesan and departmental Can work individually and as a member of a collaborative team Organized and creative with the ability to adapt to change and be flexible Strong decision-making skills and demonstrable good judgment Excellent project management skills with proven ability to implement successful programs Microsoft Office skills, including working knowledge of Teams, Word and PowerPoint programs Preferred Experience
Master’s-level degree in theology or pastoral ministry Bilingual with fluency in both English and Spanish or both English and Polish Travel is required. The Archdiocese of Chicago offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and benefit programs. The salary range for this position is $58,662.98 - $73,328.73, based on factors including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
