Overview We are expanding and hiring a highly motivated Senior Business Development Representative (BDR). You will support our enterprise sales team, specifically hunting new logo business. You will start relationships with prospects in our target market of P&C carriers and Insurtechs, helping us identify and begin serving new customers.
What You'll Do
Partner with multiple Enterprise AEs and collaborate to prospect into top target accounts
Proactively generate new logo qualified leads by cold-calling and cold-emailing targeted prospects using Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
Set meetings between prospective clients and the aligned Enterprise AE
Understand buyer personas, the needs and pains of the target market, and suggest appropriate next steps based on insights
Write and adapt email scripts and outreach cadences in Salesloft
Update and maintain detailed insights in Salesforce
Collaborate with sales and marketing to execute strategies for attracting the target market
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market developments
Network and participate in industry events to generate and close leads
Up to 10% of domestic overnight travel required
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field
2+ years of experience as a top-performing BDR/SDR at a B2B SaaS company
2+ years of experience with Salesforce
2+ years of experience with Salesloft, Outreach.io, or similar
2+ years of experience prospecting using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience with ZoomInfo and/or Apollo.io
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working at a scaling startup
Working knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) space

Employment details There is a market-rate base salary plus uncapped variable commission (paid monthly).
