Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Spearhead a crucial domain of our national expansion strategy — regulatory navigation, systems implementation, or financial operations Drive cross-functional initiatives with autonomy and direct accountability to leadership Create, implement, and refine operational playbooks in real time as we scale Work with founders and key stakeholders to build robust launch infrastructure Leverage AI tools to supercharge operational efficiency What You Won’t Be Doing
Let’s be clear about what this role isn’t: This isn’t a consulting gig — we need doers, not advisors No bureaucratic chains of command — you will have direct access to decision-makers Not a single-market focus — you’ll orchestrate multiple launches across regions No waiting for perfect information — you’ll chart the course through ambiguity Zero option to pass the buck — you own the decisions and their outcomes Vice President Operations Key Responsibilities
Your core mission is to take ownership of a fundamental operational pillar in our national school launch strategy. Execute with precision, speed, and scalability. You’ll be matched with the pillar that best fits your expertise, and you’ll have complete autonomy in shaping and delivering results. Basic Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring a powerful combination of strategic thinking and execution prowess. Battle-tested experience (3+ years) at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG Demonstrated success leading complex operations in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Expertise in regulatory compliance, systems implementation, or large-scale financial operations Self-driven executor with sharp analytical skills and autonomous decision-making ability Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to travel approximately one week monthly Proficiency with AI tools and enthusiasm for leveraging technology to optimize operations About 2 Hour Learning

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
