Audit Manager: Compliance (Hybrid) Capital One's Audit function is a dedicated group of professionals focused on delivering top-quality assurance services to the organization's Audit Committee. Capital One is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Audit Manager interested in becoming part of our Audit team. In this role as a member of the Corporate Compliance Audit Team, the candidate will have the opportunity to perform professional internal auditing work that involves conducting operational, financial, and compliance audit projects and providing input to the annual audit plan. This role will be hired as a Capital One associate with a near-term focus on audit execution and delivery for Discover Financial Services as part of our integration effort. Responsibilities
Plan, perform, and lead large/complex audits at the enterprise level as well as other diverse lines of business and specialty areas. Design and perform compliance audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes. Provide significant input into the development of the annual audit plan. Leverage available data and analytical tools during the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of audit delivery. Establish and build working relationships with internal and external management. Communicate the results of audit projects to management (written reports/oral presentations). Manage audit work and project resources during audit engagements, providing feedback on work performed to audit team members, as appropriate. Ideal teammate attributes

The associate will be expected to travel an average of 10-15% of the time. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 5 years of experience in auditing, at least 5 years in compliance, at least 5 years in risk management, or a combination At least 3 years of experience leading audits and performing in the role of auditor-in-charge Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or MBA Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Compliance Manager (CRCM) or a relevant certification 6+ years of experience in auditing in consumer compliance, banking or financial services, risk management 6+ years of experience in banking or the financial services industry 1+ years of experience with data analytics tools in internal audit 1+ years of experience with privacy compliance in the financial services industry Note: At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. This role is hybrid meaning associates will spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise-wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our team areas. Compensation and Benefits
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Location pay ranges: Charlotte, NC: $132,800 - $151,600; Chicago, IL: $132,800 - $151,600; McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700; New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900; Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600; Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600; Riverwoods, IL: $132,800 - $151,600. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual amount offered will be in the offer letter. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses or long-term incentives (LTI).
