Collaborate with the Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences driven by attentiveness to service and determination to sell. Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: you’ll know retail operational fundamentals and ensure the store runs smoothly. From pricing to shipping processing and inventory, you’ve got daily operations dialed in, leveraging our store standards to keep our famous styles easily shoppable. You’ll support staffing levels set by the Store Manager considering Associate availability, peak days, and seasonal hiring needs. Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: taking accountability for your goals and their impact on your location’s performance, you’ll drive sales and, in partnership with the Store Manager, apply insights to continually improve results. Maintain a positive mindset and lead by example to uplift and support others. Be our Store Manager’s Right Hand: when the Store Manager is away, you will step into their shoes, develop your people leadership and store management skills, ensure compliance with company programs through training and follow-up, and develop internal talent in partnership with the Store Manager. Preferred Qualifications & Education Has a High School Diploma/GED. Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred). Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people. Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with store Associates at all levels. Ability to train, coach and develop Associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in partnership with Store Sales Manager, as needed. Strong cognitive skills, including problem solving, analysis, decision making, and financial/quantitative analysis. Advanced working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours. Basic computer skills. Physical Requirements And Environment Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height with proper safety techniques. Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods. At least 1+ years of sales experience preferred, preferably retail. Experience leading and training teams to achieve goals. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
