As a Catering Manager, you will manage the Catering Department, including training new associates, overseeing event set-ups, and directing temporary personnel. You will ensure proper service to clients during events, including set-up, cleaning, and breakdown procedures. Responsibilities
Supervise all catering events. Oversee catering operations, including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and related facility activities. Collaborate with the Chef in menu creation. Train catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service. Track and monitor labor and food cost for each event. Communicate across management, client, customer, and associate levels; maintain client relationships. Assist in responsibility for all foodservice-related activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
2 years of food service experience, including 1 year in a supervisory/management role. Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related food service operations. Catering experience is required. Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills. Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet. ServSafe Certification. Benefits
