Job Description
Position Overview The Parts Order Packer handles the processing of service, warranty, and equipment parts orders. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and production teams, ensuring timely deliveries, and overseeing proper documentation and shipping of orders.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Order Review and Processing:
Receive and categorize orders, add them to the Back Parts Production chart, and review necessary work for each order. Inventory Management:
Check stock levels, adjust orders, and initiate requisition processes for out-of-stock items. Order Preparation and Shipping:
Process orders for shipping using UPS, and other mail systems where required, print necessary documents, verify stock quantities, and coordinate with production managers for configured items. Order Adjustments:
Adjust sales orders as necessary and reprocess documentation accordingly. Palletizing and Freight Coordination:
Prepare larger orders for shipping, build pallets, and coordinate freight shipping. Final Order Processing:
Ensure all orders are shipped and processed for customer invoicing. Warehouse and Inventory Support:
Assist with inventory management and ensure timely order fulfillment. Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma required 1-2 years of experience in parts ordering, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Experience with Avante and Oracle is a plus. Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in order processing systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to resolve order discrepancies and inventory issues. Experience with shipping logistics, including LTL and UPS. Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a warehouse environment.
Physical Requirement
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
