Overview
Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in Operations Management at the Assistant Professor level, beginning in the Fall of 2026. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations Management, Logistics, Data Analytics and AI. The candidate will also be expected to conduct research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals and participate in service activities at the school and university levels. Teaching in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats is expected. Qualifications
A PhD in management science or related areas from an AACSB-accredited school is preferred but ABDs close to completion will be considered. Expertise in Healthcare Operations would be an advantage. Salary and Benefits
Salary: $13,500 - $16,500 per month. Benefits include: Comprehensive Medical Coverage, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance, Retirement Benefits (State University Retirement System), Tuition Waivers, and Generous Paid Time Off (up to 12 paid holidays annually plus vacation and sick time).
