A full-time position at Trinity Prep includes serving as an advisor, teaching five classes, and assuming additional duties as assigned. Faculty are expected to contribute to leadership beyond the classroom, including collaboration with teachers and administrators to develop and evaluate school programs. Trinity Prep coaches encourage multi-sport participation to foster belonging. Position Description

Trinity Preparatory School seeks a talented, experienced Director of Athletics to serve as a 12-month administrator. The Director is responsible for the overall athletic and physical education program, including leading searches and evaluating coaches, coordinating facility use, managing student/athlete eligibility and conduct, maintaining safe facilities, scheduling and supervising contests, conducting seasonal player/parent meetings, managing summer athletic programs, and enforcing department policies. The Director also represents Trinity Prep at public appearances and oversees Trinity Prep Aquatics (a swim club). The Director serves as liaison to the Athletic Booster Club and reports to the Head of School. Duties And Responsibilities

Serve on the school’s Administrative Team. Supervise a team including two Assistant Athletic Directors, athletic administrative staff, an athletic trainer, and all coaches. Develop a strategy to hire, evaluate, orient, and mentor an inclusive and diverse coaching staff, adhering to school hiring policies. Aid varsity head coaches in program administration as needed. Communicate the school's athletic philosophy to constituencies and collaborate to implement it across all sports. Cultivate and execute a mission-based, data-informed athletic strategic plan aligned with the four core values. Prepare and manage the athletic department budget. Assist in fundraising to support athletic and physical education programs. Act as liaison to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and advise leadership on bylaws, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with The Citrus League on relevant bylaws/policies and with coaching staff. Plan coaches’ professional development and manage athletic team banquets. Supervise safety matters, including injury reports and ImPACT testing. Coordinate facilities maintenance and preparation for contests or practices. Manage athletic databases and technology tools for communication and information management. Coordinate with the communications office on messaging; organize awards and special events. Administer summer athletic programs, camps, clinics, and hosting tournaments. Serve as Administrator on Duty for most athletic contests during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Other duties as assigned by the Head of School. Qualifications And Experience

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in education, physical education, or related field; master’s degree preferred. Minimum of seven years’ experience in athletic administration in education or related field, including serving as a head coach. Three years of coaching experience at the secondary or collegiate level. Commitment to engaging and stewarding a diverse donor community; promotes an inclusive environment. Knowledge of physical education programs and ability to coordinate and develop athletic programs with strategic planning. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Facility with current technologies is highly preferred. Must be able to pass a Jessica Lunsford Level II background check and drug test. Certifications Required
