Job Information (Continued) The English Language Institute at Florida International University is seeking adjunct lecturers to teach ESL courses offered within the department curriculum. In addition, the Institute is seeking instructors for TOEFL preparation and Accent Reduction classes.

Please note that this pool is open for the 2024-2025 academic year and is reviewed based on departmental needs. Screening of applications will occur as positions become available and continue until positions are filled.

Minimum Qualifications Primary Instructor:

Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent.

Two years of teaching ESL.

Secondary Instructor, Course Assistant and Other Instructional:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent.

Two years of teaching ESL.

Desired Qualifications MS in TESOL, Linguistics, or Modern Language Education and at least two years of experience teaching ESL.
