Security Professional - Residential Site Patrol - Part Time

Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. You will use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you while gaining site experience across various industries. You will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. This position requires driving as part of patrol duties, so a valid driver’s license is necessary. You will interact regularly with the community, responding to questions and providing assistance, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule Thur 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM Fri 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM Sat 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem-solve Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter unwanted behavior and report suspicious activities Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and staff Document incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal standards Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by site policies Remain alert to surroundings and potential security concerns during shifts What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience Access control and badge experience is preferred CPR and First Aid certification is preferred A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles High school diploma or equivalent Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws Drug screening as permitted by law Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment Why Join Us
