Overview

A dynamic HR Business Partner is needed to support ~600 employees in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. This role involves building HR functions, managing daily operations, and aligning HR strategies with business goals. Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and SHRM certification are preferred. Key Responsibilities

Benefits:

Administer health, dental, vision, STD/LTD, and vacation programs; manage leaves across 46 states; run Paychex reports. Onboarding/Offboarding:

Oversee background checks, I-9s, payroll setup, and legal compliance for exits. Employee Relations:

Handle complaints, investigations, coaching, and policy development with legal. Performance Management:

Lead review cycles and support PIPs. Leave Administration:

Manage FMLA, personal, and disability leaves; ensure state compliance. Compliance & Reporting:

Maintain job posters, PTO policies, and new hire reporting. HR Operations:

Support payroll locking, unemployment claims, and wage garnishments. Employee Lifecycle:

Manage promotions, transfers, and compensation updates. Special Projects:

Lead HR initiatives and process improvements; supervise 3–4 HR Generalists. Remote/International Oversight:

Handle travel and relocation exceptions. Requirements

5–10 years HR experience (corporate/startup) SHRM-CP/SCP preferred Proficient in MS Office & Paychex Strong communication and multitasking skills Deep knowledge of FMLA, accommodations, performance management, and compliance The client offers medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FSA, and a starting PTO of 15 days.
