This role supports IT/Finance/Regulatory and Legal functions within Operational Excellence, planning and executing process improvement objectives that drive performance targets and the development and training of employees to foster a sustainable culture of continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive strategic and sustaining improvement efforts, and help deliver life-saving products by developing skills and competencies in our teams. Responsibilities Guide, deploy, and execute the Medtronic Performance System (MPS), our one-best-way methodology and tools across IT, Finance, Regulatory and Legal teams. Identify organizational needs to achieve key performance indicators and develop plans that deliver annual improvements in performance, process excellence, and programmatic savings. Partner with IT/Finance/Regulatory and Legal teams to eliminate waste, improve process efficiency, and lead process and value stream transformation activities across prioritized workflows. Develop process thinking, problem-solving skills, and a Value Stream mindset through MPS and Lean Six Sigma teaching, coaching, and mentoring. Facilitate strategic kaizen events with cross-functional teams to deliver improved performance. Must Have Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in business operations and/or operational excellence, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Nice to Have Strong change management, coaching, and mentoring competency; ability to influence change without direct authority. Solid understanding of IT/Finance/Regulatory and/or Legal organizations, with financial acumen and experience in integrating continuous improvement. Ability to travel 25-50% of the time. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including leading training courses in-person or virtually. Practical experience applying operational excellence methods in transactional environments with proven process improvement and cost savings. Project management skills with good time management, client relationship management, conflict resolution, training facilitation, and administrative skills. Working Conditions Travel typically 25% to 50%, varies based on initiatives. Benefits & Compensation Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. We provide a range of benefits and compensation plans designed to support you at every career and life stage. Salary ranges for U.S. locations: $139,200.00 - $208,800.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range applies across the United States with adjustments for experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
