We are looking for a
Controller
to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving Sibel Health’s financial strategy and operations, overseeing finance and accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, strategic planning, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic perspective and operational excellence with a strong background in finance and accounting, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors, and experience in scaling operations in a high-growth environment. What you will be working on
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with company goals. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial analysis and strategic recommendations. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Accounting & Compliance
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Manage audits, tax filings, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Cash Flow Management
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources to support business growth. Develop strategies for capital structure, including debt management, equity financing, and investor relations. Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and investors. Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI assessments to support decision-making. Collaborate with the CEO on board-level reporting and audit preparations. Provide leadership in optimizing financial systems, tools, and processes for scalability. Lead and mentor a growing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment and support for strategic initiatives. About You
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or technology industries preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Benefits
