Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Diamond Personnel An Am Law 100 firm is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support attorneys in the Global Insurance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience handling complex matters involving catastrophic injuries. Exposure to assessing medical records and detailed construction records related to defect litigation is highly desirable. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of litigation experience and thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. Flexibility to work overtime as needed is expected. Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all aspects of trial preparation. Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, contracts, and agreements. Manage discovery, including analysis of medical records, scheduling depositions, assisting with discovery requests and responses, and preparing/filing pleadings, privilege logs, and memoranda. Maintain strong communication with clients, experts, and witnesses. Conduct factual research and investigations related to trial issues. Utilize databases and research tools (LEXIS, Westlaw, etc.) for case preparation. Organize evidence, prepare exhibits, and coordinate witness scheduling for trial attendance. Stay current on E-discovery developments, including collection, review, and production of electronically stored information in state and federal courts. Leverage proficiency in PACER, Relativity, billing software, case management software, Adobe Acrobat, and Trial Director. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience (3+ years strongly preferred). Four-year college degree and/or paralegal certificate required. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and client rapport. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite. Seniority level
