CADC Counselor role at Central City Concern – Old Town Recovery Center, Portland, OR
Location : Old Town Recovery Center (33 NW Broadway, Portland, OR 97209)
Schedule : Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm)
Compensation :
CADC-1: $25.76 - $33.49
CADC-2 or 3: $28.40 - $36.92

Minimum Qualifications
Must have one of the following :
CADC-1
CADC-2
CADC-3
2 years of delivering SUD treatment highly preferred
PSS or CRM highly preferred
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Bilingual Spanish SUDs Counselors preferred (proficiency in secondary language)
Experience with outpatient adults adjudicated to treatment and/or co-occurring disorders preferred
Working knowledge of group facilitation
Working knowledge of evidence-based treatment methods for addiction and trauma-informed care
Knowledge of de-escalation methods and crisis intervention
Ability to provide case management and connect clients with community resources
Ability to work a range of hours
Current CPR certification prior to start
Adherence to drug-free workplace policies and compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988
Pass pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check (DHS Background Check Unit clearance)
Physical ability to perform required tasks (bend, stoop, lift, climb stairs)
Ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations
OAR restrictions: no recent DUI/felony/diversion convictions as applicable
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct screening and assessment to determine treatment needs, placement, and diagnosis; develop individualized treatment plans.
Participate in direct treatment of clients by:
Attending clinical staff meetings and case conferences to facilitate treatment plans
Providing group counseling
Providing case management as needed
Conduct treatment groups and individual counseling as needed
Complete clinical documentation: assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, reports, and service summaries
Participate in Quality Assurance activities and clinical meetings
Attend mandatory CCC trainings and document services in electronic health records within 72 hours
Maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2; report breaches to Compliance
Supervise practicum students when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
