This role centers on data engineering leadership with a strong emphasis on Palantir Foundry within Industrials & Energy clients. Responsibilities
Understand and analyze business requirements to translate them into technical requirements. Design, build, and operate scalable data architecture and modeling solutions. Stay up to date with the latest trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Build solutions in Palantir Foundry, including Pipeline Builder workflows, Workshop applications, AIP Agent Studio automations, Contour integrations, and Quiver data visualizations. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across multiple domains. Define and execute the Data & AI strategy for Industrials, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas or Utilities clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and champion data literacy programs, training, and change management initiatives to embed a data-driven culture. Communicate analytical findings through dashboards and visualizations tailored to business and technical audiences. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, IT, engineering, and executive leadership. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industrial domain trends, and advances in Palantir Foundry & AI platforms. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures with enterprise architects and IT support. Oversee cloud-based data management platforms and technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive the design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to solve complex business problems. Lead workstream delivery and ensure quality in all processes; engage with clients daily and identify opportunities for additional services. Implement resource plans and budgets while managing engagement economics. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics). Prior consulting or Industrials & Energy experience preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in industrial, energy, or related sectors. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Workshop, AIP Agent Studio, Contour, Quiver) and related tools. Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, stewardship models, compliance, and policy creation. Experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures. Proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku or similar. Expertise in advanced analytics, data science, and machine learning to solve operational or financial challenges. Hands-on experience with big data and cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop). Ability to lead technical delivery and manage small teams; strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Passion for mentoring and building high-performing data teams; understanding of regulatory and data privacy implications in industrial or energy sectors. Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. Preferred / Additional
Certifications in Palantir, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture. Familiarity with Digital Fluency, Hybrid Collaboration, and machine learning concepts. Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data engineering. What We Offer
