As Government Audit Manager, you'll oversee multiple engagement teams, provide strategic direction for complex audits, and serve as a trusted advisor to state and local government clients. This role offers hybrid work flexibility and competitive compensation ($140,000 - $167,000). Essential Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple government audit engagements simultaneously Direct and supervise audit teams while maintaining quality control standards Ensure compliance with GASB, GAAP, GAGAS/Yellow Book, and Uniform Guidance Develop and maintain strong client relationships across public sector entities Mentor and evaluate staff members, fostering professional growth Review financial statements and deliverables for technical accuracy Manage engagement economics, including budgeting and resource allocation Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives Required Qualifications
