As Senior Government Audit Manager, you'll oversee complex audit engagements for state and local government entities while building strong client relationships and mentoring staff. This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver exceptional client service. Responsibilities
Lead multiple government audit engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance Direct and mentor audit teams while managing client relationships Oversee engagement planning, execution, and reporting Ensure compliance with GASB, GAAP, GAGAS/Yellow Book standards Drive quality control processes and risk management procedures Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives Manage resource allocation and engagement economics Foster professional development of team members Qualifications
Active CPA license Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of public accounting experience with focus on government auditing Comprehensive knowledge of GASB, GAAP, and Yellow Book standards Proven experience managing multiple audit engagements Excellence in client relationship management Strong leadership and team development capabilities Superior project management and communication skills Benefits
