Employment Litigation Paralegal
to join its
San Jose
office. This role is a key hire for the
Employment Litigation
practice group and offers the opportunity to support a dynamic team on complex personnel actions, class actions, and other civil litigation matters. About the Firm With over 50 years of service to the

litigation, corporate, employment, tax, trusts and estates, and more . Role & Responsibilities Assist attorneys in all aspects of employment litigation. Manage personnel actions, class actions, and related matters. Draft and prepare motions, complaints, briefs, and discovery responses. Interview clients and witnesses for hearings, depositions, and trial preparation. Handle all phases of discovery, including ESI data management. Coordinate with outside vendors for discovery compliance. Manage case evidence, exhibits, and organizational systems. Create and analyze data in Excel, including working with large databases. Provide litigation support from case inception through trial. Candidate Profile Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in employment litigation, civil litigation, in-house legal departments, or HR environments. Demonstrated experience with ESI discovery required. Strong proficiency in Excel (data creation, database management, pivot tables). Paralegal Certificate or degree in Paralegal Studies required; bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved certification preferred. Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to work onsite (no hybrid/remote flexibility). Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $52.00 – $60.00, depending on experience. 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage (effective 1st of the month after one month of employment). Long-term disability insurance. $350,000 life insurance policy. PTO: 9 holidays, 10 sick days, 15 vacation days, and parental leave. 401 (k) or Roth IRA eligibility after the first payroll period.
