Job Title: Scrum Master Designation: Project Management
Location: Mph- Client Site, New York, US
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to lead our project management efforts at our client site in New York. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role is critical in ensuring that our teams are aligned, productive, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and practices to enhance team performance. Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals. Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor and report on project progress, metrics, and team performance to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and SAFe practices across the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Support the team in maintaining a healthy work environment and promoting team dynamics. Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe. Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster team collaboration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Preferred Skills:
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar. Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist). Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Engineering). Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies or project management. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in an Agile environment.
