Join our team as a Retail Sales Associate, a vital role in helping our customers find the perfect solutions for their needs. In this dynamic position, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers, answering their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products and providing exceptional service that keeps them coming back.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Assisting customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
Building trusting relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
Processing sales transactions accurately in line with company policies.
Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Maintaining accurate work order files and formulas.
Selecting products from the sales floor or warehouse as necessary.
Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
Restocking shelves and arranging displays to enhance the shopping experience.
Cleaning store equipment and ensuring the store's appearance is maintained.
Assisting with deliveries as needed, including loading and unloading delivery trucks.
Ensuring assigned areas are kept in-stock and visually appealing.
Staying informed about product offerings to effectively discuss options with customers.
Following inventory control procedures diligently.
Contributing ideas to improve sales efforts.
Position Details:
This is a part-time role at Store #725103, located at: 325 Carpenter Hill Lane #1, Cary, NC, 27519, with hours of up to 28 hours per week. The starting salary for this position is $14.50.
We are looking for candidates who are at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work without sponsorship, possess a valid driver's license, and are able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion. Flexibility to work scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in retail or customer service, familiarity with paint products, and the ability to communicate in Spanish.
