Overview
Sales and Training Executive for Shiseido, Cle de Peau Beauté, and Fragrances. Reports to the Regional Sales Director. Responsible for achieving the overall sales plan and developing/maintaining key corporate and retail relationships across Department, Specialty, and Open-Sell channels to increase sales and brand awareness. Adheres to budgetary spend commitments, including freelance management, and leads territory KPI achievement. What You Will Do
Drive sales and execute strategies within each retailer to achieve the sales plan. Maintain a cohesive monthly schedule aligned with territory volume, call cycle, top-volume doors, and business needs; incorporate MAPPP methodology into door governance. Adhere to budgetary spend commitments, including travel, expenses, and freelance budget management. Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external partners to enhance business understanding and sales results. Create an open, collaborative environment that influences sales teams across Department/Specialty Stores, Ulta, and Sephora; share knowledge and best practices. Recruit, hire, develop, and retain productive counter and freelance teams as well as Beauty Advisor/Coordinator teams where applicable. Monitor weekly SPH/ROI for freelance teams and pivot as needed to meet targets. Develop incremental event strategies (Department Store and Open-Sell) to sustain retailer engagement. Ensure in-store visual merchandising and in-stock positions; communicate needs to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain professional digital presence and adhere to company guidelines. Evaluate retail trends to inform resource movements against sales. Meet deadlines for calendars, expenses, and event recaps; understand and adhere to retail partner protocols. Participate in regional meetings to provide partnerships and create solutions for business needs. Represent Shiseido, CPB, and Fragrances positively and professionally; act as Best Brand Partner. Collaborate with Education team to train store personnel on brand confidence and selling ability. Maintain knowledge of all products and ingredients; deliver information to large groups in-store or virtually. Uphold Shiseido Brand Dress Code; maintain a polished appearance and reflect current trends. Work a flexible schedule (typical: Tuesday–Saturday), including weekends and holidays; travel to all doors in the defined territory (valid driver’s license required). Who You Are
Minimum of 2 years’ Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years’ Account Coordinator experience (or equivalent). Demonstrated ability to drive sales through relationships and customer service. Ability to work collaboratively and build positive business partnerships. Ability to interact with all management levels in a fast-paced environment; works independently to prioritize and achieve results. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills; proficient Microsoft Office skills. Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand up to 8 hours. Willing to travel up to 75%; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (where applicable).
