Ready to take charge of plant safety at a $10 B Fortune 500 CPG powerhouse? Join them as the driving force behind compliance, risk reduction, and a true culture of care—where every day, you’ll protect people, operations, and their reputation. What you’ll do will include driving compliance and safety culture, with a focus on protecting people, operations, and company reputation. What You’ll Do
Design and launch site-specific EHS programs (OSHA, EPA, local regs) that actually stick Lead hazard hunts: assess risks, specify engineering controls and PPE, then implement corrective actions Drive total visibility on safety performance—compile reports, track metrics, and present insights to leadership Deliver engaging training (OSHA basics, First Aid, hazard-specific workshops) Own injury management: steer Workers’ Comp claims, investigate incidents, and turn lessons learned into prevention plans Champion 24/7 EHS support for high-risk events and on-call expertise Foster cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance, and more to embed safety in every process What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Safety & Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, or related technical field 5+ years of hands-on EHS leadership in manufacturing (food or CPG a major plus) ASP or CSP certification and mastery of OSHA and federal, state, local regulations Proven track record with risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response plans Exceptional communicator who can translate safety jargon into actionable practice Keen analytical mindset—able to spot trends in data and translate them into proactive safety solutions Why You’ll Love This Role
