Sunshine Learning Center is a leading full day early-childhood education program educating children from 6 weeks - 5 years-old. We provide high quality care and education, shaping our early learners while building strong ties with parents and communities. The Sunshine Learning Center has locations in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx.
We are currently hiring enthusiastic Lead Infant Teachers, looking to use their experience and training to develop children's lives.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
Job Responsibilities:
Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development Create and implement lesson plans following the Creative Curriculum Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere Adhere to individualized infant schedules (ex: feeding, diapering) Complete student observations, assessments, and daily documentation. Attend regularly scheduled professional development and staff training sessions Ensure compliance with DOH regulations Create and develop strong parent and child relationships Maintain communication with parents Must be articulate, reliable, and possesses a professional demeanor Requirements:
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or currently enrolled in a associates program with more than 9 credits completed or High school diploma with extensive Infant/Toddler experience Minimum 5 years’ experience preferred Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills What we offer:
