CrowdStrike is looking for a
Cloud Software Engineer
to join our Charlotte AI Engineering Team. You will build globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud ecosystems using Go and Large Language Models (LLMs). Prior experience with Go and LLMs is helpful but not required. We mentor and train in security topics as needed and value a strong interest in CrowdStrike\'s mission and collaboration with product teams and customers. Charlotte AI is CrowdStrike\'s generative AI security analyst offering, designed to empower users of all skill levels to leverage high-fidelity security data while reducing operations complexity and cost. What You\'ll Do
Advance backend microservices, pinpointing and addressing critical concerns to implement effective solutions. Utilize CrowdStrike tools and services to build cloud solutions for detecting and countering targeted cyber threats. Innovate with Large Language Models to develop and refine Charlotte AI\'s capabilities. Construct and maintain data pipelines, perform data upkeep, and contribute to the training and deployment of custom LLMs. Collaborate across teams to brainstorm, define, and implement solutions. Commit to ongoing learning and self-improvement. Stay tuned to customer challenges and seek ways to enhance support. Emphasize high-quality coding through best practices, testing, logging and metrics. Work in a collaborative, agile team environment. Mentor fellow engineers and learn from peers across technologies. Continuously refine product architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance and reliability. Own your work with autonomy from development to deployment and monitoring. What You\'ll Need
Degree in Computer Science or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems. Experience with big data and microservices; understanding of scalability and distributed systems (sharding, partitioning, concurrency, etc.). Team player with a strong engineering mindset and adherence to testing, peer reviews, and resilient architecture. Ability to thrive in a test-driven, collaborative, iterative programming environment and to meet commitments with high-quality, unit-tested code. Tech Stack (not mandatory to know everything; strong learning capacity is essential)
