Job Overview We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join our Cloud Security Team, responsible for crafting, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across public and hybrid cloud environments. In this role, you will collaborate with application, cybersecurity, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security standard processes into all stages of the cloud development lifecycle. You will play a key role in securing and automating cloud workloads, automating compliance and ensuring our cloud environments are resilient against threats. This position is ideal for an engineer with deep cloud platform expertise and a good foundation in cloud-native security tools and practices.
Responsibilities
Leads implementation efforts across multi-cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, performance and security
Develop infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation for deployment and monitoring
Architect and optimize systems using modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns (e.g., microservices, containers, serverless)
Evaluate and implement cloud strategies and tools that reduce complexity and improve efficiency
Facilitate to craft and implementation reviews with a focus on performance, reliability, and cost optimization
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers through code reviews, learning and training sessions
Lead and influence architectural discussions and technical roadmaps
Proactively engage in multi-functional initiatives and technical forums to support team growth and innovation
Stay informed of new cloud technologies and evaluate their adoption in alignment with business goals
Advocate for and contribute to a forward-thinking cloud strategy, particularly across hybrid or multi-cloud environments
Work with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure backend services align with SLAs and business expectations
Build clear and concise documentation for backend architecture, API specifications, deployment procedures, and design decisions
Communicate technical solutions efficiently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience (required)
5+ years of software engineering and cloud experience (required)
Proficiency and hands-on experience in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go etc.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of cloud services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Travel and Regulations Travel Required (Yes/No): Yes

Compensation Base Pay Range: $113,600 - $205,000
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The actual pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience, and may vary within this range.
