About the role This role is part of Alcon's Integrated Optical Systems team in the Advanced Optics Technologies organization, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. This position will be located at Alcon's US headquarters in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities

Designing and building prototype optical systems to support R&D, Manufacturing, and Clinical applications.

Documenting new processes and equipment in support of qualification and validation activities.

Identifying and conceptualizing novel optical technologies to support rapid product development cycles.

Assist with testing, data analysis, and research to improve optical system design and contribute to the development of high-performance optical solutions.

Collaborate with teams to validate optical models and refine testing procedures.

Apply engineering principles and troubleshoot optical issues.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality control.

Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to overall compliance of the organization.

Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

What Youll Bring to Alcon

Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Associate +6 yrs; MS +0 yrs).

The ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

2+ years of relevant experience.
