As a senior manager of critical systems and metrology supporting the U.S. MTO engineering team in Fort Worth, TX, a typical day will include: Overseeing multiple teams to implement departmental plans and ensure success in maintenance program planning, design, and implementation. Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work, including reviewing mechanical and electrical engineering specifications. Performing engineering reviews of proposed new equipment designs for reliability, maintenance ease, and parts availability. Liaising with production staff to coordinate repair work, safety inspections, and new plant and equipment supply with production schedules. Participating in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Fostering a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, and enhancing employee engagement and recognition. Making decisions affecting team operations and performance, approving projects and resource allocation. Ensuring adherence to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and completing required training. Contributing to organizational compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing or non-manufacturing facilities and equipment.
