Experience and knowledge in advanced Personal Income Tax (PIT) collection law, policies, activities, and procedures Excellent technical and analytical skills to identify solutions, mentor and coach staff Knowledge of FTB systems including Taxpayer Information (TI), Business Entities Tax System (BETS), Integrated Nonfiler Compliance (INC), Enterprise Tax System (ETS), Taxpayer Folder (TPF), Case Management (CM), or other related systems Ability to read and analyze data and situations, draw sound conclusions, and guide others to take effective actions Ability to be flexible in adjusting to changing priorities and new workloads that may impact planned projects and assignments Ability to give constructive criticism of work products and practices in order to improve the work performance of others Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully switch between multiple tasks to obtain desired outcome Ability to be receptive to change and adapt quickly to achieve organizational goals Ability to work on projects, special assignments, and provide support on the various collection systems Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships at all levels Ability to promote quality customer service and resolve issues efficiently and effectively, while ensuring quality of work standards are met Ability to have a positive outlook and exercise creative problem solving to resolve issues Proactive and reactive collection experience Strong time-management skills to meet program's operational goals and desired outcomes Ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating initiative, integrity, ownership, and accountability Ability to formulate and ask relevant questions in order to help clarify facts and address specific needs or issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, etc.) Experience developing or maintaining technical guidelines and procedures Spanish Bilingual Contact Information
