They are seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join their growing team in Dallas. In this role, you will support the design and execution of utility-scale solar projects from early-stage development through construction. You will be responsible for technical design reviews, stakeholder coordination, and working closely with EORs, EPCs, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of utility-scale solar experience and be skilled in software tools like AutoCAD and Pvsyst. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
3+ years of experience in utility-scale solar projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and Pvsyst for PV layout, system design, and energy modeling Strong technical knowledge of PV modules, inverters, trackers, and balance of system components Experience preparing single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and detailed engineering drawings Ability to perform system performance modeling and validate assumptions against P50/P90 scenarios Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and other relevant electrical codes and standards Experience supporting interconnection studies and coordinating with utilities on grid requirements Ability to collaborate with EPCs, developers, procurement, and permitting authorities Experience conducting site evaluations and incorporating geotechnical/civil constraints into system design Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical findings Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or related field) Seniority level
