Overview
U.S. Bank is seeking a Technology Program and Strategy Execution Lead for the Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB) Business. The leader will collaborate with the CIO to define and drive the department’s strategic direction, craft and articulate strategic initiatives across WCIB, and lead efforts related to budget planning, project execution, resource management, and stakeholder engagement. The role also provides leadership oversight to team members executing strategic initiatives and leads programs such as continuous improvement, client satisfaction metrics, and strategic planning with business lines, representing WCIB technology in corporate activities as needed. Primary Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Implementation
Partner with CIO to develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Lead the execution of strategic programs across the organization.
Program Management
Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives. Manage resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Management
Facilitate effective communication and reporting with management and stakeholders. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
Leadership
Provide leadership oversight to team members executing on program and strategic initiatives. Provide development support and drive a culture of high performance with focus on execution. Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices. Support technology adoption in various corporate activities.

Extensive experience in strategy development and implementation, especially in large, complex organizations, ideally within financial services or banking. May have consulting background. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs, identify opportunities, and develop actionable strategies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities—able to influence senior leaders, collaborate across departments, and drive consensus. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks). Familiarity with digital transformation and technology adoption in corporate environments.
