Overview

WCIB Technology Program and Strategy Execution Lead at U.S. Bank. The leader will collaborate with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to define and drive the department’s strategic direction. Responsible for crafting and articulating strategic initiatives across Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Functional Banking, including budget planning, project execution, resource management, and stakeholder engagement. Provides leadership oversight to team members leading program execution for strategic initiatives and leads/manages initiatives such as continuous improvement programs, client satisfaction metrics, and representing WCIB technology in various corporate activities. Primary Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Implementation: Partner with CIO to develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals; lead the execution of strategic programs across the organization. Program Management: Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives; manage resources, budgets, and timelines; identify and mitigate risks and ensure alignment with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Facilitate effective communication and reporting with management and stakeholders; engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. Leadership: Provide oversight to teams executing programs and strategic initiatives; support development; drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement; support technology adoption in corporate activities. Preferred Skills/Qualifications

Extensive experience in strategy development and implementation in large, complex organizations, ideally within financial services or banking; consulting background is a plus. Proven track record of leading strategic programs and cross-functional initiatives driving transformation and operational excellence. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and develop actionable strategies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities; capable of influencing senior leaders and driving consensus. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Familiarity with digital transformation and technology adoption in corporate environments; customer-centric mindset focused on client satisfaction and business outcomes. Experience leading teams in fast-paced, changing environments. Leadership Capabilities
