Lifetime Home Remodeling is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated
Senior Accountant
to join our team in
Denver, Colorado . As we continue to grow and expand, this role will play a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), proficiency in accounting systems, and a strong ability to drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting processes. Financial Reporting & Close Process:
Ensure monthly, quarterly, and year-end close is completed accurately and on schedule. Review and correct Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L statements. Analysis & Business Insights:
Conduct in-depth analysis of business income statements, providing commentary on
performance trends, account relationships, and profitability . Identify key financial drivers and proactively address potential business issues. Journal Entries & Reconciliations:
Prepare complex journal entries, including allocations, accruals, payroll, amortizations, and intercompany transactions. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and support daily cost accounting procedures to
ensure accurate job margins . Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with leadership and operational teams to meet
financial reporting needs , improve accuracy, and troubleshoot financial challenges. Training & Development:
Assist in training and mentoring accounting staff to maintain high
team performance and engagement . Policy & Procedure Development:
Help design, implement, and maintain
internal controls, process documentation, and accounting policies . Accounting Research & Recommendations:
Research
complex accounting scenarios
and provide data-driven recommendations to management. Project Management:
Lead and manage assigned projects, collaborating cross-functionally to
provide high-quality financial information
to leadership. Payroll & Tax Compliance:
Post semi-monthly payroll and
HR-related journal entries
and assist with preparing schedules for
monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns . Special Projects:
Support additional financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, with at least
12 upper-division credit hours
in
Intermediate Accounting I & II, Cost Accounting, and Auditing
(Advanced Accounting and Taxation preferred). Master’s degree is a plus. Experience:
Minimum
5+ years of accounting experience , with
relevant industry experience
in construction, distribution, or real estate highly desirable. Technical Skills:
Strong
GAAP knowledge
and the ability to
research and apply complex accounting standards . Experience with
multi-entity financial accounting systems
is a plus. Analytical Skills:
Detail-oriented with
exceptional research, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities . Must be able to conduct
deep financial analysis
and provide actionable insights. Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
train, develop, and collaborate across teams . Professionalism:
Punctual,
able to meet strict deadlines , and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Join Us
