Audit Senior
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic audit team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements for a diverse range of clients, including high net worth individuals, non-profits, and private companies. You will leverage your expertise in tax and assurance to deliver exceptional service and insights to our clients, ensuring compliance and optimizing their financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion. Supervise and mentor junior staff members throughout the audit process. Prepare high-quality audit reports and financial statements for clients. Review and analyze financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with GAAP. Assist clients with tax return preparation and planning, focusing on high net worth individuals and non-profits. Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to clients and management. Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in audit and tax.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. CPA certification is required. Minimum of 3-5 years of public accounting experience, specifically in audit. Experience with high net worth individuals, non-profits, and private companies is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and audit standards. Proficiency in tax regulations and tax return preparation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
