Overview

Bell & Associates, Inc. has been engaged to help recruit their next Corporate Controller for a client. The base pay range is $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. Additional compensation types include an Annual Bonus. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities

The Corporate Controller will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate internal and external reporting, and support compliance efforts. Oversee day-to-day accounting functions across multiple sites (accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger) while developing and implementing strong internal controls and accounting policies. Collaborate with the CFO and executive leadership on strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Improve financial systems and processes, drive system implementations, and manage accounting staff. Produce Monthly and Quarterly Financials, including bank certifications and quarterly Management Discussion & Analysis. Provide timely and accurate reports (budgets, financial reports, key financial trends). Ensure internal controls and GAAP compliance, plus applicable federally, state, and local regulations for financial and tax reporting. Provide investors with detailed reporting on cash, sales, monthly results, and opportunities, and participate in investor update meetings. Manage treasury functions with investors and banks, ensure loan covenants compliance, and provide cash flow scenario information to investors. Assist with annual audit. Partner with operations and executives to drive financial performance improvement. Develop and implement ongoing operational and financial reporting reflecting the annual operating plan (AOP) and interim reforecasts (P&L/BS/Cash Flow). Lead, develop, and manage direct staff. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred. 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in multi-facility manufacturing or international environments. In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience managing accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Infor, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
