Job Overview
The System Administrator II will support daily IT operations as part of a lean team, reporting to the Director of IT. This role manages systems, servers, networks, and applications while driving security, automation, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities Configure, secure, and support organizational IT systems, hardware, and software. Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and network devices. Administer MS365, Intune, Defender, Cloudflare, Salesforce, and Teams/Teams Phone. Support ERP and proprietary industry applications in coordination with IT leadership. Manage servers, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and information security strategies. Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Meraki firewalls, and Ubiquiti WiFi. Develop IT documentation, policies, and long-term strategies with leadership. Provide user support and training; mentor junior staff as needed. Participate in after-hours support and occasional travel to remote offices. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience. 8+ years' experience in IT problem solving, system administration, and Microsoft environments. Strong knowledge of process documentation, technology implementation, and troubleshooting. Effective communicator, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Preferred
Experience with Azure AD, Intune, PowerShell, and Windows Server 2016-2025. Background in server upgrades, data migrations, and automation. Prior IT experience in manufacturing, print, or packaging environments.
