Senior Accountant - Security Services

WhiteCap Search . This hybrid role is in Norwalk, CT and is primarily responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely reports and statements, and ensure proper accounting controls. Base pay range $45.00/hr - $50.00/hr Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly and annual financial statements. Maintain financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures. Meet all financial reporting deadlines accurately and timely. Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and cash flows. Prepare and post journal entries based on approved schedules. Produce monthly closing schedules for benefits, payroll, debt, and prepaid accounts. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with Sage Intacct or any large ERP system (software experience beyond QuickBooks required). Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. Strong understanding of debits and credits.
