We are seeking an accomplished
Accounting Leader
to join our team in Poway, CA. This role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while leading a high-performing team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in consumer products, manufacturing, or consumer goods, coupled with the ability to draft and analyze financial statements and ensure adherence to US GAAP standards. Base pay

Lead and manage the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Draft and review financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and manage audit processes. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and executive leadership. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Implement and maintain internal controls and best practices. Manage consolidations, including foreign currency considerations. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience. 5+ years of direct management and supervisory experience. Background in consumer products, manufacturing, or consumer goods industries. Proven ability to draft financial statements. Strong audit experience with thorough knowledge of US GAAP compliance. Preferred Qualifications
CPA, MBA, or other advanced certifications. Experience with ACCPAC / Sage 300 software. Familiarity with foreign currency and consolidations.
