Our client is a growing manufacturing business with a strong market presence. They are seeking an ambitious
Senior Accountant
to support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in financial reporting. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the company’s continued growth. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr The Opportunity
The Senior Accountant will be a vital member of the accounting team, responsible for general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and cost accounting. This individual will work closely with the Business Unit Controller and plant leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, support decision-making, and help streamline processes. The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing or consumer goods. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management Support cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to drive operational efficiency Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies Partner with the Business Unit Controller and plant leadership to provide financial insights that support business performance Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting processes Ensure internal controls are maintained and adhered to Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience Background in manufacturing, consumer goods, or distribution required Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar) Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills What’s in it for you?
