Risk / Policy Mgmt (Technology Management) : Job Level - Vice President at Morgan Stanley. The role is part of Firm Risk Management (FRM), which partners with business units to realize risk-adjusted returns, acts as a strategic advisor to the Board, and protects the Firm from losses across credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and other risks. Location: New York, NY. The position supports the Market Risk Department (MRD) focusing on traded credit products within Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities Group (ISG). Background on the Position

Morgan Stanley is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Market Risk Manager to join its Market Risk Department (MRD), based in New York. The traded credit products team covers the full spectrum of credit products and hedges traded within ISG, including corporate credit, municipal credit, structured credit and securitized products. The successful candidate will contribute across traded credit products including securitized products such as CMBS, CLOs, Resi and ABS as well as corporate credit and muni products. Primary Responsibilities

Interact directly with the Front Office to monitor and manage market risks across a variety of products. Articulate risk decisions to the Front Office, senior management, regulators and other internal control groups. Describe the trading desk's risk profile, trading strategy and governance framework. Make risk decisions that align with the Firm's risk appetite and incentivize appropriate risk-taking behavior. Analyze and approve large or complex trades, design and set risk limits, and determine capacity allocation. Serve as subject matter expert for traded credit products and lead risk projects involving securitized products (e.g., FRTB, VaR development, stress tests). Collaborate with teams to ensure risk controls and governance are integrated into business processes. Qualifications and Experience

Self-motivated, experienced professional in market risk management with ability to learn about financial risks, collaborate with a team, and interact with the Front Office daily. Strong oral and written communication skills to present risk information to diverse audiences. Prior experience with Fixed Income products, preferably traded credit such as securitized products, corporate credit, munis or other complex interest rate sensitive products. Experience using scenario analysis, Value-at-Risk, stress testing, risk measures/Greeks, etc., to perform comprehensive risk analysis. Comfort with tools to analyze market risk (e.g., Excel, SQL, statistical software packages). Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or higher preferred. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base pay is individualized and may be part of a broader compensation package including commission, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefits.
